midterm project

so for our midterm project we had to use what we have learned during the beginning of the semester to make a interactive project. so for my project i decided to make a interactive jukebox where people can turn it on and off with two buttons. this jukebox also has led lights that i put inside the jukebox and the leds change with the beat of the song. so what i did was i used to the microbit to sync a code to play a song and with that song i had to time the leds to match the beat of the song that is playing and then make sure that the button that turns on the music turns on the leds and makes the leds go through the pattern. I also had to make it look like a juke box so how i did that was i got a small box from a class mate and put the bread board inside the box and then wired the speaker around the box and then made holes in the side of the box so you can see the leds and there is also a whole on top to see the leds. Then after that i got colored paper and cut it around the box and taped it on the box. i also and to cut a spot in the box for the microbit to stick out so we can use the buttons to turn it on and off. you can see all this in the attachments below.
